Competitive Exam Guidance Workshop

The Mother Velankanni Education Trust, Nalasopara, organized a Competitive Exam Guidance Program on Saturday, 11th October 2025, at 10:30 AM at its campus in Taluka Vasai, District Palghar. The event was aimed at guiding and inspiring students from classes 10, 11, and 12 to prepare for competitive examinations like MPSC and to motivate them toward building a brighter future through public service. The program was chaired by Smt. Asha Mathew D’Souza, President of the Trust. Among the dignitaries present were Dr. Nisha Vishnu Savara, President of Aasaman Seva Sanstha, Mr. Baban Kamble and key mentors Dr. Vikrant Patil, Founder of Rajarshi Shahu Prabodhini, and Prof. Prashant Kamble-Nerlekar, Director of Rajarshi Shahu Prabodhini, Borivali. The special guest for the event was Adv. Deep Munzello, Vice President of the Mother Velankanni Education Trust.

The program commenced with an introduction to the Mother Velankanni Education Trust, detailing its various educational institutions and its continued dedication to empowering students through quality education. This was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the beginning of a meaningful journey toward knowledge. A welcome song and a graceful welcome dance, performed by the students, added a cultural touch and created a warm and vibrant atmosphere. All guests were felicitated as a gesture of gratitude and respect by the organizing team.

The main highlight of the event was a series of inspiring and informative speeches by the invited speakers. Prof. Prashant Kamble-Nerlekar was the first speaker, who offered detailed guidance on competitive exam preparation and emphasized the importance of time management, consistency, and awareness of current affairs. Dr. Nisha Vishnu Savara then addressed the students, encouraging them to stay determined and confident, and shared motivational stories of individuals who achieved success despite challenges. Dr. Vikrant Patil followed with practical advice on the MPSC exam pattern, preparation techniques, and the critical role of mentorship in a student’s journey. Adv. Deep Munzello, in his speech, motivated the students to believe in their potential and make use of the support systems provided by the Trust and society. The session concluded with an address by Smt. Asha Mathew D’Souza, who reiterated the Trust’s commitment to nurturing the academic and career aspirations of students and announced that more such initiatives would be taken in the future.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, appreciating the presence and efforts of all dignitaries, speakers, teachers, organizing members, and students. The program left a significant impact on the young attendees, providing them with the right motivation and clarity to pursue their dreams through dedication and hard work in the field of competitive exams.
