Mother Velankani English School, organized a Poster Making Competition on 22nd November 2025 as part of the celebrations for Constitutional Day (Samvidhan Divas). The main objective of this activity was to make students aware of thevalues, principles, and importance of the Indian Constitution and to encourage creative expression among them.
Students from different classes participated enthusiastically in the competition. They created colourful and meaningful posters based on various themes such as Fundamental Rights and Duties, Equality, Justice, Liberty, Fraternity, Democracy, Unity in Diversity, and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s visionfor India. The posters reflected the students’ understanding of constitutional ideals and their artistic talent.
Teachers guided and motivated the students throughout the activity. The posters were displayed on the classroom and corridor notice boards, creating awareness among other students and staff members. A panel of judges evaluated the posters on the basis of creativity, relevance to the theme, originality, and presentation. The best posters were appreciated and the winners were awarded certificates.
The competition successfully increased awareness about the Indian Constitution and inspired students to respect and follow its values in their daily lives. The event proved to be both educational and creative, making the celebration of Constitutional Day more meaningful.
