FRESHERS PARTY REPORT

Location: Seminar Hall, Mother Velankani Junior College.

Purpose of the Event: The Freshers’ Party was organized to welcome new students to Mother Velankani Junior College and help them integrate into the college community. The event aimed to provide a friendly and enjoyable environment for new students to meet their peers, faculty, and staff, and to introduce them to the college’s culture and traditions.

Event Highlights:

Welcome Address: The event commenced with a welcome address by students of Std XII Karan Singh and Siddhi Parihar, who extended a warm welcome to the freshers and provided an overview of the evening’s schedule.
Ice-Breaker Activities: To help new students mingle and get to know each other, several ice-breaker activities were conducted. These included Zumba, truth and dare and self-introduction.
Performances: The highlight of the evening was the series of performances by students of std X and XIII. The performances included singing, dancing, speech etc.
Games and Competitions: Various games and competitions were held, including musical chair, best dressed contest and passing the passer.
Food and Refreshments: A variety of snacks and beverages were provided throughout the evening.
Social Interaction: The party provided ample opportunity for socializing. New students had the chance to meet their peers, interact with senior students, and engage in informal discussions with faculty and staff.
DJ Party: The highlight of the evening was the DJ party, where DJ played a mix of popular tracks. The DJ created an energetic atmosphere with a blend of upbeat music, encouraging students to dance and enjoy the party.

Attendance: The event was attended by approximately 200 students.

Feedback: Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive. Many students appreciated the warm welcome and the opportunity to connect with their new peers.

Conclusion: The Freshers’ Party was a successful event that achieved its goal of welcoming new students and fostering a sense of community. It provided a platform for students to start their college journey on a positive note and build lasting connections.
