Introduction
On 26th August,2024, Mother Velankani English school celebrated Janmashtami, the joyous festival marking the birth of Lord Krishna, with enthusiasm and reverence. The event was held at the School Hall and it saw participation from students, teachers creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere.

- Welcome and Introduction
The celebration commenced with a warm welcome by our host Shagufta ma’am. She introduced the significance of Janmashtami and outlined the day’s program. Her engaging introduction set the tone for the festivities.
- Welcome Song
The program began with a melodious welcome song performed by student from Class 9. The song beautifully captured the spirit of Janmashtami, evoking a sense of devotion and excitement among the audience.
- Dance Performance
Next, students from Class 10 delighted the audience with a traditional dance performance. The dance depicted the playful and divine aspects of Lord Krishna’s life, showcasing the students’ grace and talent. The energetic performance was met with applause and admiration from everyone present.
Then the students formed a human pyramid to break the Dahi-Handi.
