Introduction:
On 14/9/24, our school Mother Velankani English School organized an Essay Writing Competition in the classroom. The competition aimed to promote literacy and foster creative thinking among students. Participants were encouraged to showcase their writing skills on a given topic.
Participants:
The competition saw enthusiastic participation from students across 8,9,10 students eagerly registered for the event, showcasing their interest in literary activities.
Event Details
The competition began at 8:30 am with a brief introduction , emphasizing the importance of effective communication through writing. Participants were given 45 mins to complete their essays. The topics were my favourite festival for std 8 Importance of education for 9 and Unity is strength for std 10
Highlights and Challenges:
The competition witnessed exceptional talent as students articulated their thoughts with clarity and passion. However, some participants found it challenging to structure their essays effectively within the given time frame.
Conclusion:
The Essay Writing Competition concluded successfully, achieving its objective of encouraging students to express themselves through writing. It provided a platform for budding writers to showcase their skills and receive recognition for their efforts.
