Mother Velankani English School successfully organized a Fancy Dress Competition on 22nd December 2025 in the school auditorium. The event was conducted with great enthusiasm and festive spirit, beautifully blending the joy of Christmas celebrations with India’s rich cultural heritage.
Students from Kindergarten to Junior College participated actively, showcasing their creativity and confidence through colourful and imaginative costumes. The competition was organized with class-wise themes, including Star, Elf, Christmas Tree, Bell, Reindeer, Angel, Snowman, Santa Claus, and Traditional Attire for senior classes. Each theme conveyed meaningful messages of love, kindness, teamwork, creativity, generosity, and cultural values.
The programme commenced with a prayer followed by a warm welcome address by the school authorities. The vibrant costumes, confident stage presence, and joyful performances of the participants made the event lively and memorable. Students impressed the audience with their expressions, originality, and relevance to the themes.
The participants were judged on the basis of creativity, confidence, costume presentation, and theme relevance. The judges highly appreciated the efforts of the students and acknowledged the constant support and encouragement provided by parents and teachers.
