To celebrate the festive spirit and promote creativity among students, the school successfully organized Holly Making Activity and Mehndi Competition for students from Std. 1st to 9th on 20th December 2025. Both activities were conducted with great enthusiasm and active participation from students.
Importance of the Activities
Holly Making Activity
- Holly is a traditional symbol of Christmas, representing joy, peace, and celebration.
- The green leaves symbolize eternal life, while red berries represent love and sacrifice in Christian belief.
- Enhances festive spirit by creating a joyful and warm atmosphere.
- Encourages creativity, imagination, and artistic expression among students.
- Helps preserve Christmas traditions and cultural heritage.

Mehndi Competition
- Preserves and promotes traditional Indian art and culture.
- Enhances fine motor skills, concentration, and hand-eye coordination.
- Encourages creativity through intricate and innovative designs.
- Builds self-confidence and patience among participants.
- Promotes healthy competition and sportsmanship.
- Creates awareness of mehndi as a professional art form.

Students’ Response
Students participated enthusiastically in both activities. They enjoyed cutting, pasting, decorating holly ornaments, and creating beautiful mehndi designs. The activities filled the campus with joy, laughter, and festive cheer while allowing students to express their creativity and work collaboratively.

Both the Holly Making Activity and Mehndi Competition were highly successful.
