Mother Velankani English School & Junior College celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Velankani, the patroness of the institution, with great devotion and enthusiasm. The day began with a solemn prayer service invoking the blessings of Mother Velankani for the well-being of the management, staff, students, and their families.
The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the divine presence and purity of Mother Velankani. The Principal addressed the gathering, highlighting the significance of the feast and encouraging everyone to follow the values of compassion, humility, and service that Mother Velankani embodies.
Students presented a beautiful cultural programme comprising hymns, dances, and skits depicting the miraculous deeds and the message of faith and kindness spread by Mother Velankani. The melodious choir added a spiritual touch to the celebration.
