On September 5th,2024, the students and staff of Mother Velankani English School and Junior College came together to celebrate Teacher’s Day with great enthusiasm and respect. The day is observed in honor of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a renowned scholar, philosopher, and the second President of India, whose birthday is celebrated as Teacher’s Day to acknowledge the contribution of teachers in shaping the future of the nation.

The celebration commenced at 10:00 am with the arrival of teachers and students. The hall was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. The event began with a welcome speech by the head student, followed by a tribute to the teachers with a special assembly.
