The Christmas celebration at Mother Velankani English School & Junior College on 24th December was a joyous and vibrant event, filled with festive spirit and enthusiasm. The celebration brought together students, teachers to experience the essence of Christmas and its message of love, peace, and goodwill.
The event commenced at 9:00 AM with a heartfelt prayer service, invoking blessings and emphasizing the true meaning of Christmas. The principal, in their welcome address, highlighted the importance of unity and compassion during this festive season.
The highlight of the program was a beautifully enacted nativity play by the students of the school, which depicted the birth of Jesus Christ. The students’ performance was met with loud applause, as they showcased their acting and storytelling skills with great enthusiasm.
