Introduction
The Discipline Committee Programme was successfully conducted on 27th June 2026 at Mother Valankani English School. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of discipline, punctuality, respect, and responsibility in their daily school life. Students participated enthusiastically and pledged to follow the school rules sincerely.
Purpose of the Programme
The purpose of the Discipline Committee Programme was to promote self-discipline, develop good habits, maintain a safe and positive learning environment, and encourage students to become responsible and respectful individuals.
Objectives
To create awareness about the importance of discipline in school and daily life.
To encourage punctuality, honesty, responsibility, and respect.

Method
The programme began with a welcome address.
Students were informed about the role and responsibilities of the Discipline Committee.

Students were encouraged to maintain proper behaviour in classrooms, corridors, the playground, and during assemblies.
A discipline pledge was taken by all students to follow the school rules and respect everyone.
Outcome
The programme had a positive impact on the students. They understood the importance of discipline, punctuality, cleanliness, and respectful behaviour. The activity encouraged students to become more responsible and cooperative, helping to create a safe, peaceful, and disciplined school environment.
Conclusion
The Discipline Committee Programme was successfully conducted with the support of the Principal, teachers, and students. It inspired students to practise discipline every day and strengthened the values that contribute to a positive school culture.
