The farewell party for the outgoing SSC and HSC batches was held on 18th January at Mother Velankani English School & Junior College. The event was a grand occasion, organized by the staff and junior students to bid a heartfelt goodbye to the graduating students.
The program commenced at 10:00 AM with a prayer ceremony, invoking blessings for the students’ future endeavors. The Chairperson, in her address, expressed pride in the students’ achievements and encouraged them to strive for excellence in all aspects of life.
A series of cultural performances followed, which included speeches, dances, songs, and poetries presented by the junior students. Their vibrant energy and enthusiasm set a celebratory mood for the event. Some outgoing students also shared their experiences and heartfelt gratitude towards their teachers and the institution, creating emotional moments during the ceremony.
The main highlight of the program was the video montage which had lots of sweet memories placed in it.
Special awards were presented to students excelling in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities. Teachers shared words of wisdom and recalled fond memories of their interactions with the departing students.
A photo session captured the memories of the day, ensuring they would be cherished for years to come.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by the head girl, followed by a lunch organized for students, teachers, and staff. Students were given return gift as a token of love. The bond between the juniors and seniors, coupled with the best wishes for their future, marked the essence of the celebration. The farewell party was a memorable occasion, leaving everyone with a mix of emotions—nostalgia, joy, and hope for a bright future.
