Spell Bee Competition Report
Date: 11th July 2026 Time: 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Classes: Standard I to Standard IV Venue: Respective Classrooms
On 11th July 2026, Mother Valankani English School successfully conducted a Spell Bee Competition for students of Standard I to Standard IV. The programme was organized from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in the respective classrooms.
The programme began with a warm welcome and a brief introduction to the importance of spelling, pronunciation, and vocabulary in learning the English language. The teachers had prepared the students in advance by conducting spelling practice sessions and decorating the Spell Bee display board.
During the competition, each student was asked to spell the given English words orally. The participants displayed confidence, enthusiasm, and excellent listening skills. The judges evaluated the students based on the correct spelling, pronunciation, and confidence while answering.
At the end of the competition, the First and Second position winners were selected from each class. The programme was conducted smoothly and encouraged healthy competition among the students.
The Spell Bee Competition proved to be an enjoyable and educational activity. It helped students improve their vocabulary, pronunciation, spelling accuracy, and self-confidence. Overall, the programme was a great success and was appreciated by the Principal, teachers, and students.
